Do You Know a Nanny Who Is Outstanding?
You are invited to have a positive, lasting impact on the nanny’s career by nominating her or him for the 2009 Nanny of the Year (NOTY) award. The NOTY award is presented annually by the International Nanny Association (INA) to recognize the personal achievements of a working nanny.

If you would like to take this opportunity to honor a nanny you respect with a nomination for the NOTY award:

  • Read the summary below,
  • Download the PDF files of the NOTY application forms,
  • Ensure each form is completed,
  • Gather the required documents (portfolio and references...)
  • Make four copies of the portfolio
  • Forward the nomination packet to the INA office by March 2, 2009.

NOTY nomination packets should be mailed to: International Nanny Association, 3801 Kirby Drive, Suite 540, Houston, TX 77098. The information must be received by March 2, 2009 to be considered.

The NOTY Award Summary

  • Who: Individuals eligible for nomination are currently employed full time as a nanny or specialty nanny (newborn care specialist, traveling nanny, governess or temporary nanny). The nanny selected will be a professional caregiver who is a genuine advocate for children; and a person who has enriched the lives of the children in his or her care.

  • Where: Dallas, Texas

Important Information: About the Nomination Application

Please note that the application process includes several forms. The nominee and person nominating the nanny are required to complete specific forms. The complete application should include the candidate’s portfolio, required photos and additional requested information and documentation. Please note that:
  • Four copies of the completed nomination application packet must be received by the INA office postmarked no later than February 17, 2009.
